uk4u CHRISTMAS BOX 2011 SILENT AUCTION PRIZE WINNER

Following the successful launch of uk4u Thanks! Christmas Box 2011 by Lorraine Kelly at The Tower of London on 6th December, the trustees held a lunch to thank their sponsors and supporters.  During the meal, a silent auction was held. The prize, kindly donated by Patrick Mercer Conservative MP for Newark, was a unique opportunity to experience a personal tour of the Palace of Westminster, the home of the Houses of Parliament, for two people followed by afternoon tea in the Pugin Room overlooking the Thames.  Patrick Mercer himself a keen historian, will conduct the tour and host afternoon tea.

The highest bid received was from Mr Roger Medwell, chairman of NP Aerospace (England).
