uk4u CHRISTMAS BOX 2012 SILENT AUCTION PRIZE WINNERS

Following the successful launch of uk4u Thanks! Christmas Box 2012 by Lorraine Kelly at Wellington Arch, London on 4th December, the Trustees held a lunch to thank their sponsors and supporters at The RAF Club.  During the meal, a silent auction was held with 2 superb prizes on offer. The main prize was a rare opportunity for 2 people to spend a day with the RAF Aerobatic Team, better known as the Red Arrows, who are based at RAF Scampton in Lincolnshire.  The highest bid received was from Mr Bill Cooper of Vestey Foods UK Ltd Special Contacts Division.

The RAF Club kindly donated another prize of Dinner, Bed and Breakfast for 2 nights at this prestigious Club in the heart of London. A generous bid from Eugene Greene, Managing Director of The Cooneen Group, won this prize.

The Trustees would like to thank the Royal Air Force and the RAF Club for their kindness in donating these wonderful prizes.
