2004 Christmas Box
The 18,000 boxes that were distributed in 2004 were designed to be the same size as the standard 24 hour Operational Ration Packs so that they can use spare irreducible capacity in the supply chain, and so avoid any extra distribution costs to the tax payer.
Each box contained a camera, toiletries, foodstuffs, a greetings card and other products to make Christmas more fun for our service people away from their families. The 2004 "Box" contained 22 items.
uk4u Thanks! would like to express their sincere 'Thanks' to all of the sponsors and would like to remind you that the charity is always looking at new ideas for the Christmas box, and to ensure the success and appreciation of this gift we still need sponsors and donations to cover the costs.
What exactly will you find inside these boxes?
